`BAANADI` KOTE OPENS UP FOR DIRECTION

A senior character artist Nagaraj Kote running the `Banna` acting school successfully has materialized his dream of the childhood. That is direction indeed. Last year he turned dialogue writer from `Ambara` and now a children based commercial film with artistic touch commenced at Sri Maheshwari Temple on last Monday morning. Nagaraj Kote in his debut direction attempts at parental care for children. How difficult it is to bring up the children in the present social cultural global world is his point with a group of children and elders like Dattanna, Rajesh Nataranga, Ramesh Pandit, Abhinaya and others. Praful Vishkarma is main child protagonist.

For the muhurut of the film `Baanadi` Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli was chief guest. He was honored on this occasion. GK wished good success for Nagaraj Kote in his debut direction.

Kote has another name Nagaraj as producer of this film in Druthi Cinema banner. It is based on 1998 novel Usire that forms the base for the script of this film. Former child actor Karthik Sharma with good education in music and cinematography is scoring music for five songs. Sabha Kumar is man behind camera.

Lahari Velu has given permission to use one of the Rathnan Pada for this film. Sri Purandaradasa Tatwapada is also part of the film. Vyasa Rao and Nagaraj Kote also penned remaining songs.
